Who we are – Moreland Neighborhood Dental

Moreland Neighborhood Dental has been serving Portland area residents from its Westmoreland location since 1971. In 2016 we built a new, comfortable, eco-friendly office to suit your needs at our same great location. We even have food carts in our parking lot just in case you work up an appetite while getting your dental treatment!

We believe it is essential to your overall health and well-being to maintain good oral health. Our dentists have a combined 40+ years of experience. We have the knowledge and the experience you are looking for in a dentist and in a practice!

By far the best at what they do

I have always been nervous to go to the dentist, as many. After visiting with these amazing people and going through an initial exam, cleaning and now fillings. I have to say they by far are the best at what they do from the first hello, insurance and billing and followed by the service. I highly recommend them to any and everybody!

Moreland Neighborhood Dental was established

In 1971 Dr. David Long established Moreland Neighborhood Dental.

1997

Dr. Matthew Hicks arrives

In 1997, Dr. Matthew Hicks entered private practice as an associate with Dr. David Long at Moreland Neighborhood Dental.

2004

Dr. Hicks assumes ownership

In 2004, Dr. Hicks assumed ownership of Moreland Neighborhood Dental from Dr. David Long

2016

A new office is born

In the fall of 2016, our new eco-friendly office was complete.

2017

Dr. David Long retires

In the winter of 2017, Dr. David Long retired after nearly 50 years in dentistry.

2017

Dr. Timothy Manning joins the team

In the winter of 2017, Dr. Timothy Manning joined the Moreland Neighborhood Dental team as an associate.

2023

Dr. Bradley Fuller joins the team

In the summer of 2023, Dr. Bradley Fuller joined the Moreland Neighborhood Dental Team as an associate.
